Your information in FAMUNA
This notice explains which details this first version receives and how we use them.
Updated November 2, 2026.
The waitlist
If you sign up, we receive your name, email, country, profile, language and consent. Only the profile for young people asks for an age range. If you select employer, we do not ask for your age: we receive the company name and your interest in exploring a paid pilot. We use these details to register interest and contact you about FAMUNA. Submission does not create an account or contract, or confirm access to support or benefits.
Your account and the demo
Accounts use Netlify Identity to verify your email and manage access. We store your name, email and support requests, together with their progress. Authorized operations staff can review them; employers receive aggregated information for their organization. The demo uses a separate session lasting seven days. Your browser stores the language preference and session cookies. Do not enter documents, health information or sensitive financial information.
Agents and technical services
We use hosting, storage and artificial intelligence services to operate the platform. A message sent to an agent may be processed by the AI provider. Agent responses offer guidance: they do not approve benefits, make payments or replace a professional.
How we handle data
We do not sell your personal details or give sponsors access to your conversations. Communications to partners should use aggregate information. Operational access is limited to what is needed to manage the project.
The public federated network
If you follow FAMUNA’s public profile from the fediverse, we store your actor’s public identifier, inbox and follow reference to deliver posts and process unfollows. We retain a record of an undone follow so old retries cannot reactivate it. The network shares only selected public FAMUNA resources; your personal inquiries remain within your account. Other instances may retain copies of public posts.
Your choices
The waitlist is only submitted if you agree to be contacted. In Your account, you can send a request about your data or ask the team to review a deletion request. Signing out does not delete recorded requests. If you receive a FAMUNA message, you can reply to ask us to stop contacting you. Before opening funded programs, we will publish their terms and support channels.
